About Us

It is so nice to "meet you".  We are a family business.  It is my husband, my daughter (our marketing manager at age 15), and me.  My husband is a full-time granite counter top maker, I am a veterinary technician turned veterinary sales person.  We have saved our entire lives to get into creating incredible magical spaces as a retirement plan (as you can imagine lifting 100# dogs or 1000# granite slabs into our retirement is not sustainable nor were our salaries at $20-25/hr).  

We buy severely distressed and unlivable properties (our primary home in Milwaukee was on the foreclosure market a year and now houses travel nurses on the 3rd floor, my aged parents in the first floor and the 3 of us, our house in Vieques PR (a $72,000 traditional round house) employs a Viequense caretaker, gardener and handyman, as well as various guides.  It was on the market for 380 days.  Our house in Alaska was an unlivable geodesic dome (for $40,000) that my husband propped walls back up with a car jack and his back, while living without water or heat, but it is now beautiful.
